No Change

The baby has still not come. We are ten days from the due date and had a good doctor's visit this morning. The baby is in good position and weighs almost exactly what Hutch weighed at his birth, so we may have a bigger baby! My doctor was running late doing two emergency c-sections so we had to wait about 45 minutes for him. I'm so thankful to have such a good doctor. I know the reason all the missionaries go to him is because he is the best doctor in the area. He's awesome! Hutch loves visiting the doctor's because they have all these cool toys in the waiting room. He sure knows how to make a mess there, but the nurses love him and let him play until his heart's desire!

Up Early

One disadvantage of being this far along is the lack of comfortability. I really enjoy sleeping, but someone won't let me do that! So here I am quietly typing away while everyone else sleeps. It's ok, I guess my mind is just preparing me for the many sleepless nights ahead. I'm getting really excited!

I've just been thinking about the churches in Kaputa. Praying that they are strong and doing well. It's hard being away this long. But God is in control and everything they've been taught is being put into practice while we're away. Please Pray for the churches and for Justin who is there. Pray for strength for Justin and for strength for the churches.

Hutch has been to the pool three times this week. He is a natural water baby! He loves the water, it is the cutest thing in the world.


Sorry if the quality isn't as good as normal, James got a new phone and we've just been using it as our camera! We'll try to remember it next time!

Still Waiting....Again

I think it looks like I'm hiding a basketball under my t-shirt! Caroline B was so sweet to send us these shirts, we love them. James and I went to pick up supper a few nights ago and were both wearing our shirts. We thought it was funny.

No updates except that the baby is getting lower, and it's definitely starting to hinder my trips to the mall. I guess we've seen all there is to see anyway.

Hutch is starting to really enjoy the stroller. This is the first time he's ever been in one, and at first he didn't like being confined but now he loves it! When he gets sick of riding he likes to get out and help Happy push it. He's a character!, as Happy says!

Still Waiting, No Baby...

Happy says it looks like the baby has dropped, so maybe in the next week or so we'll have something exciting to put on the blog. For now though it's Toys R Us. Hutch has had the best time playing in that store and when we leave he cries. We've created a monster! No, he'll forget about it once we get back home. Happy bought him a slide, to donate to BIMS once we leave here. We also went to the zoo, Hutch was trying to get inside with the animals, I kept a tight grip on him!

Traveling!

We are in Johannesburg, South Africa waiting on the baby! We have had so much fun these past few weeks! When we arrived in Lusaka, we were surprised with Christmas! Hutch learned how to open presents and it was so cute. Then he played on the playground and went down the slide for the first time. What a big boy! Now we are having fun going to Toys R Us and the malls here!!! We'll keep updating on Hutch, but we are praying for the churches in Kaputa and for Justin as he holds down the fort for us!
